I'm trying to figure out how they got the names of myself and immediate family members. I never signed up for an account nor do I think a family member has. I read through the FAQs and while it says one can delete one's public profile, it does say any information they have is a matter of public record. So Effun What! I did not create an account so other people could find me. I'm not interested in other people finding me. Nonetheless, in order to delete the public profile, I have to login and click on some link and follow directions. Ok, so now I have to create an account to remove my public profile. That kinda like clicking a link in Phishing scam or an "subscribe" feature. Once you respond, you just validated your existence and whatever else Personally Identifiable Information revealed. Effun Jerks! Well, this issue is dead. Last post was 43 days ago.
Google local search is a great place for those getting used to working with the Internet and online marketing to get started. Since Google feeds so many other sites you can really leverage your efforts. I suggest that prior to setting up any directory you prepare several things: a 100,250 and 500 word profile description of your company and services, a list of all your services, a list of your top 20 keywords and keyword phrases, categories you would like to be listed in, all your location addresses, store hours and pictures including your logo in a 72 dpi or jpg < 100K. This will save you alot of time once you get going.

Interested in a 9" Dell Inspiron Mini with Mac OsX already installed? Let me know. I have an extra (the same one photographed above). It comes with the original hard drive (just incase you ever want to restore the original Dell OS) and a custom case from Timbuk2. Your cost? $300.

WTF? I read in USA TODAY that the Highway Loss Data Institute found that there were no reductions in crashes after Texting Bans were added in 3 states and DC. It's counter intuitive to me -- unless the people who are most at risk aren't influenced by the ban. Anyone else have thoughts?

I don't know if this helps or makes me more worried about the abuse of social media. At a time when some of us are working hard to help business consider how to be transparent and authentic on social media, this video teaches an entirely different approach. I know its a parody, but people are doing just what it talks about.

Makes me feel a bit used. Like I am moving uphill against sluggish molasses in Winter, trying to suggest there is a better way to use social media.
