Schools closed? Politicians in hiding? More than 10,000 angry protesters? Wisconsin government is in chaos this week — and it shows on social media sites.

    There were times on Friday when ‘Wisconsin’ trended higher than ‘Justin Bieber’ due to the chaos we’re experiencing in state government.

    To find individuals you want to follow on this topic, use search.twitter.com and enter ‘wiunion’ or ‘wisconsin’ — the results will include the recent discussion. You can follow the people you like on the list. Using the advanced search, you can narrow the results to include individuals that are located in your areas (within 25 miles, etc.). Like many Wisconsinites, I’m torn. The GOP and Walker have valid concerns, but there’s a lot of bullying going on.

    Thanks Troy.

    I live in Ohio and am a proud member of the Cincinnati Federation of Teachers (retired). My husband and I have walked the picket lines and had to be on strike–even when it cost us our health insurance and pay. Sometimes there are moral issues where you just have to join together and speak up. It’s not something we wanted to do, it was something we had to do to know we were standing up for the children in our care.

    My heart goes to the people in Wisconsin who are standing together for the rights of workers all over the world.
